Cotton has the unique ability to bring warmth to all living things. I wanted to create a ceramic piece that reflects the essence of nature—soft yet strong. Through thoughtful study, I shaped the form of cotton into its most comfortable and harmonious expression.

Loam Archive is a ceramic studio run by Lee Jihye, who works in Seoul, Korea. All works are produced by artists.

Product notes & care —

• Each item is 100% handmade, so its shape may be irregular.

• There may be signs glaze flow, clumping, differences in thickness, bumps, air bubbles, black or brown spots caused by iron content in the clay. These are inherent qualities of handmade ceramics and do not qualify as valid reasons for exchange or refund.

• The air hole in the handle of the cup is an essential feature to prevent cracking or deformation during kiln firing due to internal pressure from clay shrinkage.

• The ceramic is fired at 1250°C, making it durable and safe for human use.

• While the ceramic is technically microwave and dishwasher safe, we do not recommend these uses as they may cause damage. Oven use is not allowed.
